04 Mar Bridgend Ravens team up with Western Bay Adoption Service!
Bridgend Ravens are delighted to announce a brand-new sponsorship deal with Western Bay Adoption Service, the regional adoption service for Bridgend, Neath Port Talbot and Swansea.
The sponsorship agreement is for an initial 18 month term, which includes the remainder of the current season and the whole of season ‘22/’23.
Ravens supporters will be able to see Western Bay’s new eye-catching signage around the Timbuild Brewery Field stadium, as well as catching their branding on the ‘Team Sheet’ and ‘Meet the Squad’ pages in the programme and online.
The Ravens also look forward to working with Western Bay Adoption Service to provide ‘rugby skill sessions’ for adopted children at the field.
Commercial Manager for Bridgend Ravens, Craig Thomas, said, “I was already familiar with Western Bay Adoption Service and very aware of the difference the agency makes to local children’s lives. With Bridgend Ravens being a family orientated club and the positive impact of sport in the community, it was a partnership that I was very keen to get across the line… it just made total sense. I would like to take this opportunity to place on record my sincere thanks to Nichola, Jodi, Stuart and the rest of the team at Western Bay for making this happen.”
Recruitment of adopters from Bridgend for children currently waiting remains a major focus at the agency. The sponsorship of Bridgend Ravens forms a big part of a wider campaign, so keep your eyes out for Western Bay Adoption Service banners in local parks and adverts in petrol stations across the county borough.
Jodi Farley-Morris, Recruitment and Assessment Manager for Western Bay, said, “Children, family and community are at the heart of everything we do, so we are delighted to be able to support grass roots sports in Bridgend with this partnership. Recruitment of adopters in Bridgend is an important challenge and focus for us, but crucially we want any families or individuals who have been affected by adoption in Bridgend to know who we are, and where we can be found if they need to reach out for support.”
