The countdown to the eagerly anticipated Bridgend Ravens Awards Evening is on, and we’re excited to reveal the itinerary for next Friday’s event at the Heronston Hotel.
Guests are asked to arrive for 7pm when the bar will be open for light refreshments before the commencement of the evening. The dress code is smart casual and we ask that guests do not wear jeans if possible. The evening will start at 7:30pm with an address from Club Chairman, Norman Spain, before the three course dinner is served as below;
Main Course
Served with seasonal vegetables, roast and boiled potatoes

Dessert
Profiteroles, chocolate sauce

The awards themselves will commence around 9:30pm, with the following awards to be presented;
* Players’ Player of the Season, presented by Nathan Edwards
* Supporters’ Player of the Season, presented by Ian Davies
* Most Improved Player of the Season, presented by Matthew Jones
* Derrick King Clubman of the Year, presented by Norman Spain
* Award to Dr Ian Harris for Service to Bridgend Ravens, presented by Tony Williams
Appearance Awards, presented by Alun Wyn Davies and Peter Rogers
* 150 Appearances – Chris Williams
* 100 Appearances – Zac O’Driscoll & Iestyn Merriman
* 50 Appearances – Owen Howe, Owen Jordan, Stuart Floyd Ellis, Dafi Davies and Chris John
Following the conclusion of the awards, there’s entertainment in the form of guest speaker, former Bridgend and Wales prop Peter Rogers. The bar closes at midnight.
