Llandovery 40-13 Bridgend

Bridgend Ravens fell to a convincing 40 points for 13 defeat at Church Bank as Llandovery raced away with a 20 minute second half purple patch.

Owen Howe gave the Ravens an early lead from the tee. Llandovery struck back five minutes later with their first try, Joe Powell touching down with Jack Maynard converting.

A twenty minute second half blitz saw the hosts add four tries. Ryan Evans, Aaron Warren and Dafydd Hughes all touched down plus a penalty try secured a comfortable win for Llandovery. Andy Evans saw yellow for his tackle which led to the penalty try.

Bridgend’s replacements finally brought some much needed go-forward. Hard work late in the game eventually saw Bridgend’s Man of the Match, Jack Pope crash over for the try. Owen Howe converted but it was far too little too late for the Ravens.
