Gatt’s back to strengthen back division ahead of 2020/21

Joseph Gatt is the latest player to commit to Steve Jones’ Bridgend Ravens squad for 2020/21, re-joining the club from Cardiff.

26 year old Gatt had a previous spell at Bridgend Ravens between 2015 and 2018. Able to operate in the centre or on the wing, Tondu product Gatt brings plenty of experience and versatility to the squad for the upcoming campaign.

Gatt comes ‘home’ after two years in the capital with Cardiff RFC, where he won the WRU National Cup and was part of the side that had ambitions of a league and cup double cut short last season by Covid19. Throughout the course of his spell with Steve Law’s side, he turned out 45 times, scoring 9 tries.

During his previous spell at Bridgend Ravens, Joseph made the step up to the Ospreys Premiership Select and Ospreys side which featured in the LV Cup. He left the club at the end of the 2017-18 campaign, after playing a role in the Ravens winning eight of their last ten games that season, finishing as the top Ospreylian buy ativan overnight side in the Premiership.

After sealing a return to the Ravens, Joseph commented ‘I am really happy to be back with my hometown club. I’m looking forward to getting started with a strong group of players and coaches. 

Hopefully we’ll have a good season and play some exciting rugby.’
