Aberavon 44-3 Bridgend

It was a dismal Boxing Day for the Ravens who were downed by six try Aberavon at the Talbot Athletic Ground.

Aled Thomas and Jacob Chilcott traded early penalties, but it was one way traffic from the 15th minute, Aberavon running in three tries in each half to secure a bonus point win.

Frankie Jones bagged the first with a chip over the Ravens covering defence. Aled Thomas, influential all afternoon, set up the second with a neat step sending David Pritchard over out wide. A third right on halftime saw Joe Gage touch down. Thomas added two conversions to see Aberavon lead by 20 at the break.
