Awards Evening 2018 This Friday

Bridgend Ravens host their annual awards evening at the Heronston Hotel on Friday evening.

Guests are reminded to arrive at 7pm for a 7:30pm start, but the bar at the hotel is open all day for anyone who plans on arriving earlier.

The evening will kick off with a Chairman’s Address from Derrick King, before the three course dinner is served. This year’s menu is as follows:

Starter – Vegetable Soup; Served with Crusty Roll
Main Course – Roast Chicken, with white wine and tarragon sauce or gravy; served with seasonal vegetables and potatoes
Desert – Berry Cheesecake
Followed by Coffee and Chocolate Mints

A vegetarian option is also being served for those who have indicated this requirement. 

Awards for Players Player of the Season, Supporters’ Player of the Season, Most Improved Player of the Season and Clubman of the Year will then be presented. The final presentation is club caps for those players who have reached 100 appearances this season.

The final act of entertainment from the evening comes from our Guest speaker, former Bridgend Ravens coach Richard Webster.

The bar will remain open until midnight.
