Team to face Llanelli (a)

Bridgend Ravens travel to Parc y Scarlets to face Llanelli on Saturday afternoon at the earlier kick off time of 12pm.

Bridgend go into the game in some good form which continued with a narrow 21-19 win over Ospreylian rivals Swansea on Saturday. Recent results have propelled Bridgend up to sixth in the division, just three points behind Saturday's hosts and clear of Swansea and Neath who sit below them.
As already mentioned, Llanelli's league position is just one better than Bridgend's with their four wins coming against Carmarthen, Neath, Swansea and Aberavon. They're currently on their worst run of the season, losing three games in succession to Quins, RGC and Llandovery so will be looking to bounce back on home turf.
The clash earlier in the season went the way of the Ravens by 27-18. Tyler Williams got Bridgend underway with an impressive score but it was Harri Morgan, making his senior Bridgend debut that took the headlines with two scores to secure the four points for Bridgend.
Bridgend also won the corresponding fixture last season, a 20-27 win at Parc y Scarlets which was the club's first ever success at the ground. The Ravens know they'll need a similar performance on Saturday if they're to repeat that result and extend their promising run of results.
Head Coach Matt Silva largely sticks with the squad which has performed impressively of late although there is some rotation amongst the ranks. The back three of Tyler Williams, Aaron Grabham and Ryan Griffiths continues. In midfield, it's club centurion Nathan Edwards who is partnered by Garin Lougher. Ospreys starlets Cai Evans and Harri Morgan are the half backs.
Rhod Apsee, Gareth Harvey and Garyn Daniel line up in the front row. Jack Pope and Chris John are selected in the second row. Matthew John, Zac O'Driscoll and Ashton Evans are the back row.
