Rose' Reaction to Fixture Announcement

By Aled Thomas | 30/07/2013

Ravens Head Coach Ben Rose has given his reaction to the announcement of the fixtures last week.

Rose described the start of the season as ‘mouth watering’ which sees the Ravens face a Bridgend derby, an Ospreys derby and the top three from last season’s Premiership in the coming weeks.

Ben highlights the importance of pre-season, with the Ravens facing off against Bridgend Athletic at the Riverside Hardware Brewery Field, in what will also be the inaugural Ravens fun day.  He describes the atmosphere at the Riverside Hardware Brewery Field as ‘vital for the success of the team this year.’

Rose is also excited about the family fun day which is being held by the club. ‘The club have arranged a family fun day which will hopefully help draw a big crowd to help make this club a big success on and off the field.’

On the tough start to the season, the Head Coach is optimistic about the new campaign. ‘We have worked hard in pre season, and our final preparations for the new campaign will be nailed down when we play Neath (at the Gnoll) in the British & Irish cup qualifier.’

‘The players and management cannot wait for the start of this new season, and we are sure that the fans are excited too.’
