It was a day to forget for Bridgend as they travelled west to Carmarthen Park to face an in form Quins side who have won 6 in their last 8.
Carmarthen dominated every facet of the contest, with a powerful scrum and maul giving the hosts a great platform to attack from. The Quins managed two first half tries plus a penalty from Aled Thomas. Bridgend replied with two penalties from the boot of Will Holley to keep them within sight as the half time whistle sounded.

Carmarthen crossed four times in the second half to rack up 40 points. Bridgend showed glimpses in the second half of what they can do, with replacements Owen Thomas and Ashley Evans adding some urgency, however the Carmarthen defence held Bridgend out for the full second 40.
The Ravens will be mightily disappointed with the performance and know that much better is needed with a trip to Bargoed on the horizon in a fortnight.
