Bridgend Ravens v Ulster 'A' (H) Preview

Bridgend Ravens will conclude their debut season in the British & Irish Cup this weekend as they host Ulster 'A' (also nicknamed the Ravens) at the Riverside Hardware Brewery Field on Friday, kick off at 7:30pm.

The fixture has been rearranged following the postponement earlier this year due to the inclement weather conditions, which resulted in heavy snowfall. Despite neither side having any chance of progressing to the latter stages of the tournament, the clash of 'The Ravens' looks to be an exciting one following their clash earlier on in the season.

In Belfast, Bridgend led at half time after a sensational try from wing wizard Glen Lewis. However, the hosts were to strong for the Welsh Ravens, coming out 49-19 victors after a masterful second half performance.

Bridgend will be eager to impress, having already recorded two wins in their debut season in the competition. Two solid victories over Cardiff have set the platform, it's now up to Ben Rose's men to take an international scalp in the form of their Irish visitors.
