Ben Rose praises big ‘cup final’ win.

Bridgend Ravens interim Head coach praised the performance of his players in their win at the Gnoll on Saturday.

Speaking to walesonline.co.uk, Rose said “We built the last game of the season with Neath like a cup final, and the way our supporters celebrated you would have thought silverware had been won. Considering Neath have been pushing for the title, our first-half display was superb, but for me the most pleasing aspect was the character shown when they rallied.’’

On his future, Rose admitted he’d applied for the full time position and hoped to take the reigns full time next season. The interim coach said “I’ve applied for the Bridgend job, and hopefully a decision will be made in the very near future.”
